Meditation and SoulCollage®
Meditation and SoulCollage® go so well together. It’s a truly reciprocal relationship. Not only can you use meditation enhance your card making and reading processes, but you can also use your SoulCollage® cards to inspire meditations.
Recently Jessica said to Somsara, “if it was easy to be magical, everyone would be.” Sometimes a little extra effort with our ritual garners exponentially better results. This principle holds especially true when we combine meditation and SoulCollage. For instance, when we take the time to meditate before we make or read our cards, we are showing up for the process in a more dedicated way, which leads to more gravitas and extraordinary results. And when we invite the energy/essence of a card into our meditation, look out – unexpectedly magical things can happen.
With SoulCollage (and meditation actually) there is a correspondence between what we get and what we give. The more we give our cards our attention, the more work they do on our behalf. The more faithful we are to our meditation practice, the power cultivated within that practice builds and builds and builds.
To support you as you combine your SoulCollage® practice with other inner work, ARTxMAGIC has released four meditations:
1. GET IN THE MOOD is just that, a quick meditation to prime you for card making.
2. WHO ARE YOU is perfect when you want to learn more about the energy/essence of a card.
3. READ IT LIKE A SENTENCE takes you through a full reading. You can use this one as soon as you have six cards or more.
4. CREATURE is our most popular meditation so far and it helps you discover the animal champion of one of your seven main energy centers (a.k.a. chakras).
All ARTxMAGIC meditations are meant to be jumping off points, once you learn them we hope you’ll make them your own by adapting them to your liking. We also want to encourage you to consider the time you spend making cards to be a kind of moving meditation and we also want to encourage you to bring cards into your existing meditation practice.
